1. sulfurizing diphenylmethyl to diphenylmethyl thio compound;
2. The benzhydrylthio compound is reacted with bromoacetate to generate 2-[(Diphenylmethyl) Thio] Acetic Acid ethyl ester;
3. acidolysis reaction was carried out under alkali catalysis to obtain 2-[(Diphenylmethyl) Thio] Acetic Acid.

However, proper safe operating procedures should be followed during handling and use, including wearing protective gloves and eye protection.
